The Developer of Digital Health and Welfare Services

DeDiWe course

The Developer of Digital Health and Welfare Services (DeDiWe) studies (30 credits) are combined from three study units (15 credits) with a possibility to add the thesis process (15 credits). It starts with study unit 1, where the main content is the citizen as customer in digital health and welfare services and how professionals are communicating in a digital environment. Study unit 2 focuses on the digital health and welfare environment with a focus on ethics and regulation. The third study unit focuses on service design and will increase competences about customer oriented, user centred service design and co-creation process.

DeDiWe curriculum

The content of the new curriculum is based on the latest knowledge of the needs of a digital society. In the study unit, future professionals (IT, social, economic and health care) are developing their competence to match the needs of digital healthcare.

The main platform for the DeDiWe studies is Slack.

Study Unit 1. The Citizens as Customers of Digital Health and Welfare Services 5 cr.

This study unit deals with the citizens as active and participating customers of digital health and welfare services and creation of competence in guiding and communicating usage of digital service alternatives.

Study Unit 2. The Digital Environment in Health and Welfare Services and its Ethics and Regulations 5 cr.

This study unit deals with the digital health and welfare environment with a focus on ethics and regulation.

Study unit 3. Digital service development and information management in health and welfare services 5 cr.
